Why our NGO should be considered to carry out Pre Military Education (PME)?
Kindly have a look at our achievements and it could be understood that we have been able to execute / implement some forward-looking concepts quite successfully for the society as a whole.
Our Achievements
Changes accepted by Educational Institutions
a )Post our project titled ‘Mission Balashali Gujarat’ (Ahmedabad) from 15th to 18th March 2011
GTU became the FIRST university in Bharat to support outstanding NCC cadets
56 students enrolled to IAF from L. D. Engineering College alone.

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) made Balashali Gujarat as its official program.

35 entries ( fast track ) to IAF from M. S. University ( ref TOI & MSU )
Around 700 students filled enrollment forms for NCC. ( Pl ref Attachment )
2. M.S. University also started taking special examination of outstanding NCC cadets who missed their regular exams due to their camps and other NCC activities saving their year.
From Visnagar Engineering College there were 20 entries to join Army and Navy.
Army Recruitment Cell received overwhelming response for their Recruitment Drive in 2011 which was conducted in Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering by our Project Leader SUO Sumeet who was also the 4th year student in the same college.
Changes effected in Media (Print & TV)
Post the release of our short film – WE SHALL OVERCOME on the theme of Self Defence and Terrorism in 2009, we have been holding talks at various levels with concerned sections of media to take this concept to masses for the benefit of the nation in a positive manner – How a comman man can tackle terrorism , ensure their safty & be a strong complementary force to our police , armed forces & govt .

After 2009 , the depiction of martyrs on electronic media changed to positiveness . Instead of showing coffins & grieving relatives they started showing the strength the family displayed , the pride that the family feels on the martyrdom though they are sad on loosing their loved one.
Armed Forces
We have been communicating to the Armed Forces as well and following are some positive developments
NCC is now a 3-year program instead of 2-year program. The 2nd year cadets of NCC who appeared for Youth Exchange program selection at Republic Day camps would have completed their NCC when they actually went for Youth Exchange program to another country. With 3-year NCC program this does not happen. This is a big relief to the deserving cadets.

In 2014, the Gujarat NCC Directorate was elevated to number 5th position after languishing for several years at low ranks out of 17 Directorates in the country.
IAF made a short 8 min. film on the activities of IAF based on the proposal submitted to them by our foundation.

4. Government :
Department of Employment ( GOG ) made changes in their SVPMRTC ( Swami Vivekanand Pre Military Residential Training Camp ) on our recommendations .
We conducted the SVPMRTC in 2016 from 16th June to !7th July for the first time ( with our effective follow up post camp too , 6 students out of 60 who attended the camp joined the Army , IAF & CISF )
Dept of Empt made following changes:
- Increased the catering allowance of cadets from 100 Rs/day /student to 250 Rs /day / student
- Organised a post of Camp Co ordinate to conduct the SVPMRTC
Which was missing earlier.
We worked with Dept of social justice & empowerment ‘s Adarsh Niwasi Kanya Shala girls at Darjipura from 31st Dec 2016 to 31st March 2018 training the interested girls to join Bharatiya Military .
The proposal to induct women in non officer category in the military was there in the pipeline for sometime but at the first advertisement to in that women in army police appeared in 2019.
We would like to state here that our NGO – E plus Foundation is certainly a very effective catalytic factor in Army’s decision to induct women in non-officer cadre .
June 2022 , the first batch of girl students would appear or the written test for NDA
3.We hope to represent to the government to recognize and include Self Defense activity as part of CSR initiatives.
Corporates : With our efforts RIL ( VMD ) gave space in their township to conduct NCC camps from 2005 to 2012.
Now for every group ( there are four groups of NCC Guj Directorate ) there is proper facilities to hold NCC camps provided by Gujarat Govt.
We are yet to confirm but we understood that catering allowance for camps was also increased during this time only.
4) Counselling parents of aspiring students:
Independently we have been talking to the parents as well informing them about the changes that have taken place in the Defense sector resulting in considerable change in work culture & the lifestyles of the Defense Personnel.
Much needs to be done ! We are on the job !!
