ABOUT EPF’s EXISTENCE
We encountered hurdles in

• Joining NCC etc.
We Represented!
And aAndthere were positive changes…..
1) Reliance Ind. Ltd. ( VMD) started giving NCC to hold camps in its township area from 2005 to 2012. Thereafter govt. Built proper places for each group to hold camps.
2) GTU became the first university in India to support outstanding NCC Cadets & Sports persons from technical branches by taking special examinations, thus saving their year.
3) The depiction of Martyrs on News Channels changed towards positiveness in 2009.
4) NCC became a 3-year course from 2 years from 2013.
5) The GoG Dept. of Employment did many practical changes in their Pre-militarytrainingg. Camare ps based on our recommendations and many such proactive changes.

Our Achievements
Changes in Educational Institution
- Post our Mission: Balashali Gujarat (Ahmedabad) from 15th to 18th March 2011 56 students enrolled in IAF from L. D. Engineering College alone.
- Gujarat Technological University (GTU) made Balashali Gujarat its official program and the Honorable Governor of Gujarat gave special discretionary power to the Vice Chancellor of GTU to take regular examinations of outstanding NCC cadets. GTU has become the first University to do so.
- Post our Mission: Balashali Gujarat (Vadodara) 35 entries to IAF from M. S. University and a good number of 700 students filled enrollment forms for NCC.
- From Visnagar Engineering College there were 20 entries to join Army and Navy.
- Army Recruitment Cell received an overwhelming response for their Recruitment Drive in 2011 which was conducted at Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering by our Project Leader SUO Sumeet who was also the 4th year student in the same college.
Changes in Media
Post-release of our film – WE SHALL OVERCOME on the theme of Self Defence and terrorism. We have been holding talks at various levels in media to take this concept to the masses to the benefit of the nation in a positive manner.
As an effect of this, the showing of the coffins of our brave martyrs was replaced by different depictions of their bravery.
It has an enormous positive effect on the psyches of the viewers.
Armed Forces
We have been communicating with the Armed Forces as well and the following are developments.
- Changes in NCC the Gujarat Directorate was elevated to number 5th position after a long period of getting more than 12th rank out of 17 Directorates.
- IAF made a short 8-minute film on the activities of IAF based on the proposal submitted to them by our foundation.
- Independently we have been talking to the parents as well as informing them of the changes that have happened in the Defence sector .
- Our NGO has been addressing the issue which crop up because of geographical and historical background, this are also related to social issues.We are also addressing health issues.
- There are many mis conception Associated with defence sector that also we addressing as and when required
History of e plus foundation
This wasn’t a planned venture; we got into it as we faced many hurdles at school and college level while being into NCC and Sports. Our strong belief in our system education and others provided the conducive wavelength between the people who were running the system and us.
A state/national/international level sports person or student who is attending higher level of NCC/Sports camps is required to be away from regular academic sessions for a quite a long time, missing out on his attendance and regular studies. However the general intellectual level of our children or average Indian student can be considered quite above average and with proper time management an average student can complete his or her curriculum when he or she gets to be back from their demanding schedules.
Here comprehensive encouragement and understanding on the part of academic institutes help the students to overcome stress factor which otherwise starts building up due to continues nagging/ questioning by everyone connected to studies.
Kindly note that this is being said only after our own experiences and having done it ourselves.
Because we had confidence that we can handle academics, sports and NCC together, we could impart this confidence to the questioning authorities/ persons.
With our success many students/ parents/ teachers/ started contacting us for guidance and that’s how we got into this field.
